- Spread the tomato mixture evenly across the skillet, creating a base layer.
- Sprinkle or layer the shredded mozzarella evenly over the tomato base, covering as much surface as possible.
- Reduce the heat to low and cover the skillet with a lid or foil. Let cook for about 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove the skillet from heat and let it sit for a minute to settle.
